Why Hubpages are better than a Blog

As you know I started experimenting with ehow articles, but I found out very quickly that I did not like ehow. I didn’t like how I was restricted to only writing how to articles. This can keep you back from writing about profitable niche keywords. Not everything is related to a “how to.”

With hubpages you can write about anything you want, except adult content. This is perfect for someone like me, just getting started in creating some passive income because you can write articles and get something going right away.

On top of that I was also fed up with ehow’s article writing interface. I kept getting tons of errors in the middle of writing and even had to rewrite one because it lost everything I had written so far.

I think the best reason for using hubpages is that you can use it learn what you really want to blog about.

If you are anything like me then you have interest that are so wide and varied it is too hard to narrow down to one niche that you can focus all your blogging energy on.

Right now it seems like I’ll be writing all about passive income and making money online, but I don’t necessarily plan on writing about this forever.  That is why I’m using hubpages to figure out what I want to write about. I write about anything that I find interesting.

In the time being I can also use those hubs to link back to my blog so that I can gain some credibility in the search engines.

So go ahead and start using hubpages for that blog you were thinking about writing. If you can consistently come up with hubs on one topic and you still have more to write then maybe it’s time to start thinking about starting a blog in that niche.
